We did our first Fundraiser on Friday 17th December, and we raised money for NSPCC this is a charity for children, and the event went really well and some of the money raised went towards our trip to Prague! We went round our college for about an hour to see if we can raise any money. We split up in groups to go around the college and these were Hayley, Steph D-C and Lorna, Ross, Steph B, Kristy and Gemma and Blaise, Kaleigh and me. As it was Christmas we all made an effort to look Christmassy and dressed as Elf’s or tried to wear something Christmassy. As it was the last day of term there weren’t many people at college, however we still raised £69.78 which was really good!! And it means that some of the money will go towards our Prague trip which means a little bit of the trip has been paid. After we had raised the money Kaleigh and Lorna had to go to the finance department in the college to bank the money as they are the finance team. We are now planning our second fund raising event which will be sorted out by Blaise, Steph B and Hayley which means we will be able to raise more money!
